Le port de Beyrouth fait partie de la narration de la gen\u00e8se de la ville.\u00a0Autrefois, il \u00e9tait symbole d\u2019\u00e9changes et d\u2019interactions avec l\u2019autre monde, \u00e0 la fois culturels et mat\u00e9riels.\u00a0Depuis l\u2019explosion, nos yeux sont riv\u00e9s sur ce port qui est actuellement totalement d\u00e9connect\u00e9 de son contexte urbain, inaccessible comme la majorit\u00e9 de la c\u00f4te.\u00a0Aujourd\u2019hui, le port est en d\u00e9clin, avec un d\u00e9ficit import\/export, une manutention obsol\u00e8te due au manque de coordination des diff\u00e9rents acteurs, entrainant une inefficacit\u00e9 de sa production, une augmentation de la surveillance militaire, et un repli total.\u00a0Le trafic routier est tr\u00e8s congestionn\u00e9 dans le centre de Beyrouth d\u00fb au transport de marchandises vers l\u2019arri\u00e8re-pays.
La Gare de Charles H\u00e9lou, le sujet d\u2019\u00e9tude principal de l\u2019atelier, est l\u2019une des ruptures physiques qui accentue la division entre la ville et le port. Dans un contexte o\u00f9 tout est fronti\u00e8re, o\u00f9 le port est exclu de la vie des habitants et n\u2019am\u00e9liore pas l\u2019\u00e9conomie de la ville, comment faire de cette limite un lieu d\u2019interaction racontant l\u2019histoire d\u2019une possible coexistence auparavant existante. Les murs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 bris\u00e9s, l\u2019explosion donne alors l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de repenser une autre organisation spatiale durable.
Le projet a pour ambition d\u2019augmenter les possibilit\u00e9s offertes par la ville aux habitants, travaillant \u00e0 relier et cr\u00e9ant de l\u2019espace public. Pr\u00f4nant la production et la solidarit\u00e9, il inclut ce qui existe d\u00e9j\u00e0 tout en ajoutant des interm\u00e9diaires et des initiateurs qui mettent en lien et favorisent les innovations. C\u2019est un lieu o\u00f9 la mixit\u00e9 d\u2019activit\u00e9s et d\u2019acteurs se rencontre : exporter, importer, stocker, produire, innover, recycler, consommer, \u00e9changer, partager, contempler.
Les fonctions du port qui sont actuellement sectoris\u00e9es se diversifient et se densifient afin de favoriser les \u00e9changes et un processus circulaire. L\u2019objectif est de ramener les gens dans un m\u00eame \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me, en favorisant la proximit\u00e9 et la transparence des activit\u00e9s du port (accessibilit\u00e9, d\u00e9cloisonnement, pour contrer les risques d\u2019une autre explosion...).
La structure travaille \u00e0 relier deux mondes, reconnectant spatialement la ville et le port. Elle permet la transition entre deux champs, deux aspects, deux niveaux. Une succession de portiques transversaux, inspir\u00e9s du port industriel, viennent se plugger sur les espaces libres d\u00e9laiss\u00e9s en bordure du quartier de Gemmayz\u00e9, franchissant l\u2019ancienne infrastructure de l\u2019ancienne gare routi\u00e8re, afin de contenir des flux longitudinaux : les vides publics.<\/p>\",\r\n \"align\": \"top\",\r\n \"row\": -1,\r\n \"col\": 0,\r\n Le port de Beyrouth fait partie de la narration de la gen\u00e8se de la ville.\u00a0Autrefois, il \u00e9tait symbole d\u2019\u00e9changes et d\u2019interactions avec l\u2019autre monde, \u00e0 la fois culturels et mat\u00e9riels.\u00a0Depuis l\u2019explosion, nos yeux sont riv\u00e9s sur ce port qui est actuellement totalement d\u00e9connect\u00e9 de son contexte urbain, inaccessible comme la majorit\u00e9 de la c\u00f4te.\u00a0Aujourd\u2019hui, le port est en d\u00e9clin, avec un d\u00e9ficit import\/export, une manutention obsol\u00e8te due au manque de coordination des diff\u00e9rents acteurs, entrainant une inefficacit\u00e9 de sa production, une augmentation de la surveillance militaire, et un repli total.\u00a0Le trafic routier est tr\u00e8s congestionn\u00e9 dans le centre de Beyrouth d\u00fb au transport de marchandises vers l\u2019arri\u00e8re-pays.
La Gare de Charles H\u00e9lou, le sujet d\u2019\u00e9tude principal de l\u2019atelier, est l\u2019une des ruptures physiques qui accentue la division entre la ville et le port. Dans un contexte o\u00f9 tout est fronti\u00e8re, o\u00f9 le port est exclu de la vie des habitants et n\u2019am\u00e9liore pas l\u2019\u00e9conomie de la ville, comment faire de cette limite un lieu d\u2019interaction racontant l\u2019histoire d\u2019une possible coexistence auparavant existante. Les murs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 bris\u00e9s, l\u2019explosion donne alors l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de repenser une autre organisation spatiale durable.
Le projet a pour ambition d\u2019augmenter les possibilit\u00e9s offertes par la ville aux habitants, travaillant \u00e0 relier et cr\u00e9ant de l\u2019espace public. Pr\u00f4nant la production et la solidarit\u00e9, il inclut ce qui existe d\u00e9j\u00e0 tout en ajoutant des interm\u00e9diaires et des initiateurs qui mettent en lien et favorisent les innovations. C\u2019est un lieu o\u00f9 la mixit\u00e9 d\u2019activit\u00e9s et d\u2019acteurs se rencontre : exporter, importer, stocker, produire, innover, recycler, consommer, \u00e9changer, partager, contempler.
Les fonctions du port qui sont actuellement sectoris\u00e9es se diversifient et se densifient afin de favoriser les \u00e9changes et un processus circulaire. L\u2019objectif est de ramener les gens dans un m\u00eame \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me, en favorisant la proximit\u00e9 et la transparence des activit\u00e9s du port (accessibilit\u00e9, d\u00e9cloisonnement, pour contrer les risques d\u2019une autre explosion...).
La structure travaille \u00e0 relier deux mondes, reconnectant spatialement la ville et le port. Elle permet la transition entre deux champs, deux aspects, deux niveaux.
