Le projet propose le d\u00e9veloppement des presses universitaires, actuellement inadapt\u00e9es \u00e0 la demande, \u00e0 travers les maisons mitoyennes de l\u2019Avenue Buyl.<\/p>

Dans un premier temps, un masterplan pr\u00e9voit la r\u00e9organisation du campus Solbosch : les actuelles presses universitaires deviendraient le \u201cpoint info\u201d et les maisons abriteraient une vaste librairie universitaire sur les deux niveaux inf\u00e9rieurs. Les \u00e9tages seraient consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 des cohabitations \u00e9tudiantes.<\/p>

L\u2019abondante superficie du site permet de maximiser la documentation des diff\u00e9rentes facult\u00e9s. Un nouveau b\u00e2timent se d\u00e9veloppe sur Paul H\u00e9ger, proposant notamment des espaces de coworking. Ces nouvelles fonctions apporteraient de la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 entre le campus et la ville.<\/p>

Notre bin\u00f4me s\u2019est alors concentr\u00e9 sur la r\u00e9novation des maisons mitoyennes. L\u2019intention premi\u00e8re de l\u2019intervention est de sauvegarder l\u2019aspect patrimonial datant du d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle que nous offrent ces maisons. Par le biais de la r\u00e9novation, les b\u00e2timents sont pr\u00e9serv\u00e9s dans leur quasi-totalit\u00e9.<\/p>

La librairie se d\u00e9veloppe ainsi sur l\u2019ensemble des bel-\u00e9tage et une partie des actuelles caves, certaines \u00e9tant d\u00e9j\u00e0 traversantes depuis la rue \u00e0 l\u2019espace ext\u00e9rieur arri\u00e8re. Une extension arri\u00e8re est construite de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 redynamiser la fa\u00e7ade faisant face au campus.<\/p>

Cette galerie permet une circulation en peigne, y compris pour les personnes \u00e0 mobilit\u00e9 r\u00e9duite, entre les diff\u00e9rentes pi\u00e8ces de la librairie. Elle se finit par un plus vaste espace, d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux conf\u00e9rences d\u2019auteurs et propose une petite restauration. Rythm\u00e9e par les patios qui apportent de la lumi\u00e8re, l'extension contraste, par sa mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9, la t\u00f4le blanche et le bois, avec le style des maisons dont les mat\u00e9riaux d\u2019origine sont conserv\u00e9s afin de mettre en valeur leur authenticit\u00e9.<\/p>

Le projet propose le d\u00e9veloppement des presses universitaires, actuellement inadapt\u00e9es \u00e0 la demande, \u00e0 travers les maisons mitoyennes de l\u2019Avenue Buyl.<\/p>

Dans un premier temps, un masterplan pr\u00e9voit la r\u00e9organisation du campus Solbosch : les actuelles presses universitaires deviendraient le \u201cpoint info\u201d et les maisons abriteraient une vaste librairie universitaire sur les deux niveaux inf\u00e9rieurs. Les \u00e9tages seraient consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 des cohabitations \u00e9tudiantes.<\/p>

L\u2019abondante superficie du site permet de maximiser la documentation des diff\u00e9rentes facult\u00e9s. Un nouveau b\u00e2timent se d\u00e9veloppe sur Paul H\u00e9ger, proposant notamment des espaces de coworking. Ces nouvelles fonctions apporteraient de la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 entre le campus et la ville.<\/p>

Notre bin\u00f4me s\u2019est alors concentr\u00e9 sur la r\u00e9novation des maisons mitoyennes. L\u2019intention premi\u00e8re de l\u2019intervention est de sauvegarder l\u2019aspect patrimonial datant du d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle que nous offrent ces maisons. Par le biais de la r\u00e9novation, les b\u00e2timents sont pr\u00e9serv\u00e9s dans leur quasi-totalit\u00e9.<\/p>

La librairie se d\u00e9veloppe ainsi sur l\u2019ensemble des bel-\u00e9tage et une partie des actuelles caves, certaines \u00e9tant d\u00e9j\u00e0 traversantes depuis la rue \u00e0 l\u2019espace ext\u00e9rieur arri\u00e8re. Une extension arri\u00e8re est construite de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 redynamiser la fa\u00e7ade faisant face au campus.<\/p>

Cette galerie permet une circulation en peigne, y compris pour les personnes \u00e0 mobilit\u00e9 r\u00e9duite, entre les diff\u00e9rentes pi\u00e8ces de la librairie. Elle se finit par un plus vaste espace, d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux conf\u00e9rences d\u2019auteurs et propose une petite restauration. Rythm\u00e9e par les patios qui apportent de la lumi\u00e8re, l'extension contraste, par sa mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9, la t\u00f4le blanche et le bois, avec le style des maisons dont les mat\u00e9riaux d\u2019origine sont conserv\u00e9s afin de mettre en valeur leur authenticit\u00e9.<\/p>
