Le b\u00e2timent O (b\u00e2timent de Calcul), con\u00e7u par le bureau CERAU (1969), de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles, est le premier b\u00e2timent brutaliste sur le campus du Solbosch. Entour\u00e9 de v\u00e9g\u00e9tation, ce b\u00e2timent pr\u00e9sente peu de connexions avec l\u2019avenue Buyl et le campus. Dans son propre monde \u00e0 part, il reste isol\u00e9. L\u2019atelier de projet TRAME, souhaitant repenser la r\u00e9habilitation de ce b\u00e2timent, plusieurs potentiels pour le site et le b\u00e2timent se sont manifest\u00e9s d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part ; le potentiel du site afin de permettre la porosit\u00e9 entre l\u2019avenue, les arr\u00eats de bus et tram, et les flux entrants et sortants des \u00e9tudiants.<\/p>

En outre, l\u2019activation des espace publics non exploit\u00e9s comme la Petite Soignes, et les espaces ouverts autour du b\u00e2timent, permettront de cr\u00e9er des espaces publics avec diff\u00e9rentes qualit\u00e9s et usages. Suivant une forte demande des espaces de travail pour les \u00e9tudiants, comme des salles d\u2019\u00e9tudes en coworking, des ateliers pour les architectes et les ing\u00e9nieurs, des caf\u00e9s en hybride (service-travail), le nouveau programme de ce b\u00e2timent O serait : un Learning center.<\/p>

Le nouveau Solbosch Learning center<\/em> travaillerait en compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 avec le Learning and Innovation center (LIC), <\/em>en construction sur le campus de la Plaine. L\u2019architecture du nouveau Solbosch Learning Center <\/em>utilise la typologie initiale particuli\u00e8re du b\u00e2timent (circulation en dehors du volume principal). L\u2019intervention consiste \u00e0 \u00e9tendre un socle, au RDC qui englobe l\u2019ancien b\u00e2timent. Ce socle permet de r\u00e9unir toutes les activit\u00e9s mais cr\u00e9e \u00e9galement des nouveaux espaces publics au RDC en lien direct avec l\u2019avenue Buyl et au 1er<\/sup> \u00e9tage, sur le toit du socle, en lien avec le campus. Le b\u00e2timent O (b\u00e2timent de Calcul), con\u00e7u par le bureau CERAU (1969), de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles, est le premier b\u00e2timent brutaliste sur le campus du Solbosch. Entour\u00e9 de v\u00e9g\u00e9tation, ce b\u00e2timent pr\u00e9sente peu de connexions avec l\u2019avenue Buyl et le campus. Dans son propre monde \u00e0 part, il reste isol\u00e9. L\u2019atelier de projet TRAME, souhaitant repenser la r\u00e9habilitation de ce b\u00e2timent, plusieurs potentiels pour le site et le b\u00e2timent se sont manifest\u00e9s d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part ; le potentiel du site afin de permettre la porosit\u00e9 entre l\u2019avenue, les arr\u00eats de bus et tram, et les flux entrants et sortants des \u00e9tudiants.<\/p>

En outre, l\u2019activation des espace publics non exploit\u00e9s comme la Petite Soignes, et les espaces ouverts autour du b\u00e2timent, permettront de cr\u00e9er des espaces publics avec diff\u00e9rentes qualit\u00e9s et usages. Suivant une forte demande des espaces de travail pour les \u00e9tudiants, comme des salles d\u2019\u00e9tudes en coworking, des ateliers pour les architectes et les ing\u00e9nieurs, des caf\u00e9s en hybride (service-travail), le nouveau programme de ce b\u00e2timent O serait : un Learning center.<\/p>

Le nouveau Solbosch Learning center<\/em> travaillerait en compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 avec le Learning and Innovation center (LIC), <\/em>en construction sur le campus de la Plaine. L\u2019architecture du nouveau Solbosch Learning Center <\/em>utilise la typologie initiale particuli\u00e8re du b\u00e2timent (circulation en dehors du volume principal). L\u2019intervention consiste \u00e0 \u00e9tendre un socle, au RDC qui englobe l\u2019ancien b\u00e2timent. Ce socle permet de r\u00e9unir toutes les activit\u00e9s mais cr\u00e9e \u00e9galement des nouveaux espaces publics au RDC en lien direct avec l\u2019avenue Buyl et au 1er<\/sup> \u00e9tage, sur le toit du socle, en lien avec le campus.
