Il r\u00e9pond d\u2019une part \u00e0 un id\u00e9al industriel par la conservation et d\u2019autre part \u00e0 un id\u00e9al de p\u00e9dagogie par l\u2019observation. <\/span><\/p><p style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><span>En 1870, ouvre \u00e0 Genappe une industrie sucri\u00e8re, construite dans une politique de d\u00e9veloppement industriel, notamment entre Genappe et Ottignies. Leurs implantations sont motiv\u00e9es par la pr\u00e9sence de la Dyle et son apport en eau important. Il en a d\u00e9coul\u00e9 \u00e9galement une ligne chemin de fer, aujourd\u2019hui devenu un Ravel. En 2004, par une restructuration au niveau europ\u00e9en, la sucrerie ferme brutalement ses portes. D\u00e8s lors, le site \u00e9volue continuellement. En 2015, les bassins de d\u00e9cantation situ\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019ouest de la Dyle sont class\u00e9s comme r\u00e9serve naturelle. Leur richesse environnementale attire de nombreux oiseaux gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la vase issue du rin\u00e7age des betteraves. La nature prend peu \u00e0 peu le dessus sur le b\u00e9ton, et g\u00e9n\u00e8re de nouvelles limites. C\u2019est pourquoi, la forme de la trace min\u00e9rale du sol n\u2019est plus la m\u00eame que lors de la fermeture de l\u2019usine. Comme un t\u00e9moin temporel, ces limites sont mouvantes. <\/span><\/p><p style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><span>Le projet de l\u2019\u00e9cole respecte le site et son contexte, en appliquant une m\u00e9thode avec des limites claires. Elle va, d\u2019une part, pr\u00e9server et figer les traces restantes d\u2019un patrimoine industriel qu\u2019a connu la ville de Genappe et, d\u2019autre part, respecter et favoriser l\u2019\u00e9volution de la nature au sein de l\u2019\u00e9cole.\u00a0<\/span><span>Pour ce faire, l\u2019architecture de la nouvelle \u00e9cole se compose de larges murs exprimant la massivit\u00e9, notamment via une mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 min\u00e9rale. Ceux-ci permettent de bloquer certaines limites et stopper la progression de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation sur le sol en b\u00e9ton.\u00a0<\/span><span>Au c\u0153ur de l\u2019\u00e9cole, une limite du cocon v\u00e9g\u00e9tal dense continue d\u2019\u00e9voluer. Suivant une trame d\u00e9finie et tenant compte des particularit\u00e9s du sol, les acteurs de la nouvelle \u00e9cole peuvent, par soustraction de mati\u00e8re, participer et observer l\u2019\u00e9volution de cette limite.\u00a0<\/span><span>Une troisi\u00e8me limite est g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e par une architecture en bois, l\u00e9g\u00e8re et rythm\u00e9e qui prend appui sur les Il r\u00e9pond d\u2019une part \u00e0 un id\u00e9al industriel par la conservation et d\u2019autre part \u00e0 un id\u00e9al de p\u00e9dagogie par l\u2019observation. <\/span><\/p><p style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><span>En 1870, ouvre \u00e0 Genappe une industrie sucri\u00e8re, construite dans une politique de d\u00e9veloppement industriel, notamment entre Genappe et Ottignies. Leurs implantations sont motiv\u00e9es par la pr\u00e9sence de la Dyle et son apport en eau important. Il en a d\u00e9coul\u00e9 \u00e9galement une ligne chemin de fer, aujourd\u2019hui devenu un Ravel. En 2004, par une restructuration au niveau europ\u00e9en, la sucrerie ferme brutalement ses portes. D\u00e8s lors, le site \u00e9volue continuellement. En 2015, les bassins de d\u00e9cantation situ\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019ouest de la Dyle sont class\u00e9s comme r\u00e9serve naturelle. Leur richesse environnementale attire de nombreux oiseaux gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la vase issue du rin\u00e7age des betteraves. La nature prend peu \u00e0 peu le dessus sur le b\u00e9ton, et g\u00e9n\u00e8re de nouvelles limites. C\u2019est pourquoi, la forme de la trace min\u00e9rale du sol n\u2019est plus la m\u00eame que lors de la fermeture de l\u2019usine. Comme un t\u00e9moin temporel, ces limites sont mouvantes. <\/span><\/p><p style=\\\"font-weight: 400;\\\"><span>Le projet de l\u2019\u00e9cole respecte le site et son contexte, en appliquant une m\u00e9thode avec des limites claires. Elle va, d\u2019une part, pr\u00e9server et figer les traces restantes d\u2019un patrimoine industriel qu\u2019a connu la ville de Genappe et, d\u2019autre part, respecter et favoriser l\u2019\u00e9volution de la nature au sein de l\u2019\u00e9cole.\u00a0<\/span><span>Pour ce faire, l\u2019architecture de la nouvelle \u00e9cole se compose de larges murs exprimant la massivit\u00e9, notamment via une mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 min\u00e9rale. Ceux-ci permettent de bloquer certaines limites et stopper la progression de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation sur le sol en b\u00e9ton.\u00a0<\/span><span>Au c\u0153ur de l\u2019\u00e9cole, une limite du cocon v\u00e9g\u00e9tal dense continue d\u2019\u00e9voluer.
