U<\/span>n espace m\u00e9connu de Leuven \u00e9tait vou\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00eatre transform\u00e9 en un lieu d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation artistique. Ce site, situ\u00e9 sur une \u00eele form\u00e9e par la Dyle, abrite un parking et un espace vert dot\u00e9 d\u2019un petit \u00e9tang en son centre. D\u00e8s l'arriv\u00e9e sur les lieux, on ressent un v\u00e9ritable sentiment de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et d'intimit\u00e9, comme s'il s'agissait d'un espace cach\u00e9, insoup\u00e7onn\u00e9 m\u00eame pour ceux qui passent \u00e0 proximit\u00e9.<\/span>
J\u2019ai imagin\u00e9 ce projet comme une continuit\u00e9 du Stuk, un centre culturel situ\u00e9 \u00e0 quelques pas de l\u00e0. L'id\u00e9e ma\u00eetresse \u00e9tait de cr\u00e9er un espace propice au travail des artistes en r\u00e9sidence au Stuk, en leur offrant un environnement inspirant et fonctionnel. Le projet se compose de cinq b\u00e2timents, chacun d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 une fonction sp\u00e9cifique : un studio d'enregistrement, un studio d'\u00e9criture, un atelier d'arts plastiques, une r\u00e9serve, et un logement pouvant accueillir jusqu'\u00e0 quatre artistes simultan\u00e9ment. Ces modules, dispos\u00e9s autour de l\u2019\u00e9tang, offrent un cadre paisible permettant aux artistes de s'immerger pleinement dans leur processus cr\u00e9atif.<\/span>
Pour la conception des diff\u00e9rents modules, j'ai opt\u00e9 pour une structure unifi\u00e9e en bois, utilis\u00e9e tant pour l'ossature que pour les rev\u00eatements int\u00e9rieurs et ext\u00e9rieurs. Ce choix conf\u00e8re une coh\u00e9rence esth\u00e9tique \u00e0 l'ensemble du site tout en \u00e9tablissant un lien harmonieux avec les nombreux arbres environnants. Afin de renforcer cette unit\u00e9, toutes les ouvertures du projet ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ues dans des dimensions similaires, avec quelques variations pour s'adapter aux besoins sp\u00e9cifiques des espaces.<\/span>
Chaque module a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux besoins sp\u00e9cifiques des artistes et \u00e0 optimiser l'utilisation de l'espace. La disposition des b\u00e2timents autour de l'\u00e9tang a \u00e9t\u00e9 soigneusement r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie pour cr\u00e9er un encha\u00eenement fluide et logique, o\u00f9 les espaces n\u00e9cessitant plus d'intimit\u00e9 sont situ\u00e9s plus en retrait par rapport aux studios. L'architecture japonaise a grandement influenc\u00e9 mon travail, inspirant un sentiment de s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9, de rigueur et de r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 qui traverse tout le U<\/span>n espace m\u00e9connu de Leuven \u00e9tait vou\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00eatre transform\u00e9 en un lieu d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation artistique. Ce site, situ\u00e9 sur une \u00eele form\u00e9e par la Dyle, abrite un parking et un espace vert dot\u00e9 d\u2019un petit \u00e9tang en son centre. D\u00e8s l'arriv\u00e9e sur les lieux, on ressent un v\u00e9ritable sentiment de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et d'intimit\u00e9, comme s'il s'agissait d'un espace cach\u00e9, insoup\u00e7onn\u00e9 m\u00eame pour ceux qui passent \u00e0 proximit\u00e9.<\/span>
J\u2019ai imagin\u00e9 ce projet comme une continuit\u00e9 du Stuk, un centre culturel situ\u00e9 \u00e0 quelques pas de l\u00e0. L'id\u00e9e ma\u00eetresse \u00e9tait de cr\u00e9er un espace propice au travail des artistes en r\u00e9sidence au Stuk, en leur offrant un environnement inspirant et fonctionnel. Le projet se compose de cinq b\u00e2timents, chacun d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 une fonction sp\u00e9cifique : un studio d'enregistrement, un studio d'\u00e9criture, un atelier d'arts plastiques, une r\u00e9serve, et un logement pouvant accueillir jusqu'\u00e0 quatre artistes simultan\u00e9ment. Ces modules, dispos\u00e9s autour de l\u2019\u00e9tang, offrent un cadre paisible permettant aux artistes de s'immerger pleinement dans leur processus cr\u00e9atif.<\/span>
Pour la conception des diff\u00e9rents modules, j'ai opt\u00e9 pour une structure unifi\u00e9e en bois, utilis\u00e9e tant pour l'ossature que pour les rev\u00eatements int\u00e9rieurs et ext\u00e9rieurs. Ce choix conf\u00e8re une coh\u00e9rence esth\u00e9tique \u00e0 l'ensemble du site tout en \u00e9tablissant un lien harmonieux avec les nombreux arbres environnants. Afin de renforcer cette unit\u00e9, toutes les ouvertures du projet ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ues dans des dimensions similaires, avec quelques variations pour s'adapter aux besoins sp\u00e9cifiques des espaces.<\/span>
Chaque module a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux besoins sp\u00e9cifiques des artistes et \u00e0 optimiser l'utilisation de l'espace. La disposition des b\u00e2timents autour de l'\u00e9tang a \u00e9t\u00e9 soigneusement r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie pour cr\u00e9er un encha\u00eenement fluide et logique, o\u00f9 les espaces n\u00e9cessitant plus d'intimit\u00e9 sont situ\u00e9s plus en retrait par rapport aux studios.
